Senior Associate role within a market-leading finance team in Sydney, focused on real estate finance, acquisition finance and corporate lending for domestic and international borrowers and lenders.

The role involves leading complex transactions end-to-end: structuring, diligence, drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security packages, guarantees and intercreditor arrangements, and managing execution and post-completion matters.

You will work closely with cross-practice colleagues (projects, corporate, tax, regulatory and real estate), support business development activities and mentor junior lawyers in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

5+ years post-admission (PQE) in finance transactions
Experience at a leading Australian or international law firm advising on real estate and corporate lending
Proven drafting and negotiation skills for facility agreements, security packages, guarantees and intercreditor arrangements
Commercial mindset, strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Excellent communication and client relationship skills; experience mentoring junior lawyers
