The role is open to candidates based in Bristol, Belfast, Birmingham or Manchester and sits in a team that advises across renewable generation, battery storage, EV infrastructure and related land matters.
Day-to-day work includes drafting option agreements and leases, conducting title and due-diligence reviews, and supporting project finance and large-scale acquisition/disposal matters in collaboration with corporate, banking, planning and regulatory colleagues. The role offers early client contact, file ownership and opportunities to develop a renewable-energy specialism.
The team is large and multi-jurisdictional across the UK, acting for developers, investors, public bodies and other stakeholders on high-volume and high-profile real estate and future-energy transactions. - Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–7 years PQE in real estate
- Experience or demonstrable interest in renewable energy transactions (wind, solar, battery storage, EV infrastructure, hydro)
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate leases, option agreements and carry out title/due-diligence searches
- Comfort working with cross-discipline teams on financing and large-scale acquisitions/disposals; strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness with some business development experience and the ability to mentor junior colleagues
