Growing national law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate or Senior Counsel for its Austin office. The role focuses on complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts, with a preference for candidates who have handled healthcare-related matters.

The position involves work at all phases of litigation, including factual investigations and discovery, drafting pleadings, taking depositions, briefing and arguing motions, participating in mediations, and supporting trial and arbitration proceedings. Candidates will work closely with attorneys in the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education practice group.

6–8 years’ litigation experience (Senior Associate: minimum 6 years; Senior Counsel: minimum 8 years)
Proven experience with complex commercial litigation: discovery, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, mediation
Experience in state and federal court preferred; administrative proceedings and arbitration a plus; second-chair trial/arbitration experience preferred
Healthcare litigation experience preferred
Excellent academic record, strong writing and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple matters
Texas bar license or commitment to obtain one promptly; federal clerkship preferred
