Senior Associate opportunity within a large international tax team based in Sydney, with a focus on indirect taxes including stamp duty, GST, land tax and customs duty. The role offers work across planning, transactions and dispute resolution for multinational clients and regular collaboration with cross-border teams.

The team provides multidisciplinary exposure, working closely with Corporate, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Employment and Litigation groups. The role includes opportunities for client responsibility, international secondments, and supported study leave for further qualifications (eg. LLM).

Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in Australian indirect taxes, with strong experience in both stamp duty and GST
Experience at a top-tier, leading international or large national firm preferred
Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills; excellent analytical and research abilities
Client service and business development aptitude; ability to build and manage client relationships
Ability to work effectively in teams across offices and jurisdictions; willingness to travel and mentor junior lawyers
