Senior associate role in a growing Technology/Commercial team in Melbourne, focused on technology transactions, IP commercialisation and transformation projects across regulated and non‑regulated sectors.

The role offers exposure to complex services and outsourcing agreements, cloud and platform deals, AI-related contracts, and IP ownership/licensing matters. You will advise on matters involving regulatory overlays and stakeholder complexity, with particular sector exposure such as energy, utilities and other critical infrastructure.

Qualified lawyer with approximately 5–8 years post‑qualification experience.
Strong drafting, negotiation and matter management skills on technology and commercial transactions (outsourcing, cloud/SaaS, platform agreements, AI‑related deals).
Experience advising on regulated sector transactions or projects, including navigating regulatory risk and stakeholder complexity (energy/critical infrastructure experience highly regarded).
Proven ability to mentor and develop junior lawyers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Excellent organisational, communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
Commercially minded with enthusiasm for business development and client relationship work.
