Join a national law firm's Compensation & Benefits practice group as a senior attorney focused on tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans. The role involves ERISA compliance counseling, plan design and administration, and support on benefit issues arising in corporate transactions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting plan documents and disclosures, conducting compliance testing, preparing IRS and DOL filings, responding to audits, and managing correction matters. Experience with ESOP transactions and plan asset issues is a plus.

Minimum 6 years of experience advising on ERISA and tax-qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans
Practical experience with plan design, administration, drafting plan documents and disclosures

Familiarity with benefits issues in M&A and other transactions; ESOP and plan-asset experience a plus
Excellent academic record with strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills
