Associate role in a national labor transactions practice focused on pension and employee benefits issues that arise in corporate transactions, financings and restructurings. The hire will work closely with senior lawyers and cross-practice teams to assess and address pension liabilities that affect deal economics.

Typical matters include analysis of multiemployer and single-employer defined benefit plans, withdrawal liability, plan terminations and PBGC-related issues. The role supports diligence, deal structuring and the development of allocation or mitigation strategies for pension exposure.

Experience in employee benefits / ERISA practice
Substantive experience with defined benefit pension plans, including multiemployer plan participation and withdrawal liability
Experience with single‑employer plan terminations, including PBGC-related matters
Familiarity with pension issues arising in corporate transactions and restructurings
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial and actuarial concepts related to pension liabilities
