Senior Attorney — Venture Capital Debt Finance, New York

Senior attorney role on a dedicated Venture Capital Debt team within a broader Debt Finance group. The role centers on representing borrowers and investor-side participants in venture debt, growth capital and related financings for early- and late-stage companies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating and drafting loan and collateral documents, advising on transaction structures, supporting deal execution and preparing and maintaining internal forms and precedents. The role will work closely with corporate, M&A, venture capital and life sciences colleagues across practices.

Position requires familiarity with leveraging AI-driven models and markups for term sheets, credit agreements, security documents and customary credit deliverables. Bar admission (or prompt eligibility) for the New York office is required, along with strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Significant experience representing borrowers and/or investors in venture debt, growth capital or similar financings
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating credit facilities, collateral and related loan documentation
• Comfort using and developing precedent forms and working with AI-driven drafting/mark-up tools
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in New York; excellent writing and communication skills
