An established legal resourcing team is seeking a senior employment lawyer to work on a mix of advisory, disputes and large-scale remediation/compliance matters for major employer clients. The role is offered on a consulting/contract basis and will involve advising on employee relations, disciplinary and termination matters, investigations, industrial relations and collective bargaining.

The role requires practical experience engaging with employment regulators and operational teams, drafting and updating policies, and delivering pragmatic risk-based advice across workplace health & safety and anti-discrimination compliance. This opportunity suits a lawyer who wants flexible consulting arrangements while working on high-profile, complex employment matters.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in employment law
Proven experience in employee relations, collective bargaining and employment litigation/investigations
Experience advising on workplace health & safety, anti-discrimination law and payroll/remediation projects
Experience dealing with employment regulators (e.g. Fair Work-type bodies) and managing complex matters in large organisations
Strong commercial judgment, ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work autonomously
Current Australian practising certificate and right to work in Australia
