Senior Real Estate Lawyer (Developers & Investors)

Our client, a leading full-service law firm, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Lawyer to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. This role focuses on advising developers, investors, and other stakeholders on a broad range of complex real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and financing arrangements.

You will work closely with partners on high-profile matters, taking a lead role in transactions and providing strategic guidance to clients. The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience in non-contentious real estate work, with a strong client following and a proven track record of managing large-scale transactions. Excellent technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to mentor junior team members are essential.

Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ PQE in non-contentious real estate.
Significant experience acting for developers, investors, or lenders in complex acquisitions, disposals, development, and financing transactions.
A portable practice or established client relationships across the developer/investor sector.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.
Ability to lead transactions and supervise junior lawyers.
Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to client service.
