Senior Solicitor, Catastrophic Injury (Insurance) — Liverpool

Join a national Large Loss team handling high-value defendant personal injury claims involving brain, spinal, amputation and fatality matters across motor, employers' liability, public liability and product liability. The role sits within an experienced team delivering complex technical insurance work and reserved cases.

This position will see you manage your own catastrophic and high-value PI caseload, assist more senior lawyers, instruct experts, prepare client reports and strategy, attend hearings and conferences, and contribute to team supervision and operational improvements. The role is hybrid.

• Qualified solicitor with 2–10 years' PQE.
• Experience managing a defendant personal injury litigation caseload (Motor or EL/PL preferred).
• Familiarity with high-value/large loss claims or willingness to specialise in this area.
• Strong legal drafting, investigation, case management and expert-instruction skills.
• Excellent organisation, communication, IT skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
