Join a national clinical risk team from the Bristol office, handling defendant-side clinical negligence matters for a range of healthcare and insurance-sector clients. The team manages a varied caseload that includes NHS-related work, independent healthcare providers and medical malpractice insurers.

The role offers day-to-day client contact, responsibility for progressing cases through the court process, and opportunities to participate in negotiations and mediation. You will be supported to contribute to non-fee-earning activities such as knowledge-sharing, training, client seminars and written publications.

Qualified solicitor / associate with 0–5 years PQE and experience in clinical negligence, personal injury, civil litigation or insurance law.
Experience on panels for public healthcare or medical defence organisations is desirable but not essential.
Strong technical, organisational and case-management skills, with experience using litigation or case-management IT systems.
Commercial mindset with client-focused approach; team-oriented and willing to mentor or supervise junior colleagues.
