Apply in confidence →Join a busy, growing Data, Privacy & Cyber team based in Manchester. The role is focused on advisory data protection work across UK and international regimes, with scope to support cyber incident response and AI-related projects.
You will advise a broad client base including financial services, insurers, retailers and technology companies on compliance, regulatory engagement and digital transformation matters. The team operates within a wider Commercial, Technology & Regulatory practice, providing exposure to commercial contracts, IT outsourcing and sector-specific regulation.
This is an opportunity to develop technically while contributing to business development activity in a recognised practice.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent).
- 1–3 years PQE in data protection/privacy advisory work (law firm or in-house).
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU data protection regimes and regulatory guidance.
- Excellent drafting skills and ability to provide commercially focused advice.
- Comfort managing multiple matters and client relationships; experience with cyber/data-breach response and regulatory engagement advantageous.
