A national Major Injury & Casualty team is seeking a Solicitor to join its Manchester office to handle defendant personal injury work. The role covers Employers' Liability, Public Liability and disease cases, including pre‑litigation investigations and litigation tasks.

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of one to two days per week in the Manchester office. You will run your own caseload, support senior colleagues as required, and deliver high standards of client service on technically demanding matters.

Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent); NQ candidates with relevant experience will be considered
Experience handling defendant EL/PL and/or disease personal injury matters, either independently or supporting senior fee‑earners
Practical litigation skills: drafting court documents, meeting court deadlines, attending hearings
Experience conducting liability investigations, reviewing medical records and instructing medical experts
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard case management systems
