Join a specialist Police, Care & Justice team handling civil litigation, healthcare advisory work, and representation at inquests and public inquiries. The role sits within a nationally recognised practice defending claims for public-sector clients, including police-related civil claims.

The post is offered on a hybrid basis with regular attendance required in either the Manchester or London office (1–2 days per week) and some national travel for hearings and client meetings. The team provides structured training and development to build expertise in this niche area.

Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 years PQE) or experienced Legal Executive/Paralegal with strong civil litigation experience
Solid working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and experience managing a varied caseload
Experience or interest in personal injury, employer’s/public liability, false imprisonment and related police claims (training provided)
Excellent drafting and communication skills, strong organisation and attention to detail
