Solicitor / NQ Catastrophic Loss – Insurance

Leading Catastrophic Loss team seeking a Solicitor or newly qualified (NQ) lawyer to join its insurance defence practice. The role sits across the firm's London and Southampton offices with hybrid working available.

The team handles high-value defendant personal injury, employers' liability, public liability and road-traffic accident claims involving complex liability and medical causation issues. The successful candidate will work with senior lawyers on a varied caseload, draft pleadings and client reports, manage court deadlines and instruct experts.

This is a client-facing, team-oriented role that includes mentoring junior fee-earners and developing strong internal and external working relationships.

• Qualified solicitor or newly qualified (NQ) with relevant seat/qualification for UK practice.
• Experience or demonstrable aptitude in Employers' Liability, Public Liability, Road Traffic Accidents and catastrophic injury matters.
• Comfortable handling high-value defendant personal injury files either independently or as assistant to senior lawyers.
• Strong court practice skills: drafting pleadings, meeting court deadlines, instructing experts and preparing client reports.
• Commercial approach to case management and ability to mentor junior team members.
