Senior associate opportunity within a well-regarded UK professional indemnity team. The role is open across multiple UK offices; candidates based in Liverpool, Manchester, Leicester, Leeds, London or Newcastle and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. The team handles complex, high-value contentious work for a mix of insurer and insured clients.

You will support and manage PI caseloads, work on multi-jurisdictional and high-value matters as part of a team, prepare technical reports and court documents, liaise with experts and counsel, and contribute to business development and mentoring of more junior fee-earners. The culture is collaborative with a focus on training and career progression.

Minimum c.3 years PQE (or equivalent) in professional indemnity/insurance litigation
Experience defending claims against professional service providers; strong experience in construction-related and architect claims desirable
Practical knowledge of policy coverage analysis, reinsurance/coverage work and commercial insurance market dynamics
Proven ability to manage a caseload, meet deadlines and supervise junior staff
Strong legal analysis, drafting, communication and IT skills; client-focused and commercially minded
