Join a busy Employment team in Leeds advising employers across financial services, healthcare and commercial sectors. The team is highly ranked in major legal directories and acts on a mix of high-profile and routine employer-side matters.

The role involves handling contentious employment litigation (Employment Tribunal and High Court) including discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims, together with non-contentious work such as restructures (redundancy and TUPE) and cross-jurisdictional projects. You will also supervise junior staff and contribute to business development and training activities.

Qualified solicitor with c.5+ years' PQE / post-qualification employment experience
Proven experience on tribunal and other contentious employment matters, including discrimination and whistleblowing claims
Experience advising or working with financial services and/or large commercial clients preferred
Ability to handle non-contentious projects (redundancy, TUPE) and cross-jurisdictional matters
Strong client-facing skills, confident communicator and commercial thinker
Experience supervising and mentoring trainees/paralegals; proactive in business development and knowledge-sharing
