Join a well-regarded national law firm’s Employment, Pensions & Immigration team as a Senior Solicitor focused on employment work for healthcare-sector clients. The role is open across multiple UK offices (Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham) and offers a visible role in a ranked team with opportunities for fee-earner development and business growth.

You will manage a mixed caseload for primary, secondary and private healthcare employers, working alongside senior lawyers to deliver technical advice, defend tribunal claims and support client change projects. There is scope to contribute to business-development activity, training and thought leadership for the sector.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with c.6+ years PQE (6–7+ desirable)
Strong technical employment law knowledge, including redundancy, disciplinary, grievance, whistleblowing and discrimination matters
Proven experience defending Employment Tribunal claims (drafting defences, bundles, witness statements and merits reports)
Experience advising on change projects, consultations and terms & conditions changes
Previous experience managing a personal caseload for employer clients, preferably in the healthcare sector
Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills; attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and SLAs
Team player with experience mentoring or supervising junior fee-earners (desirable)
