Seeking a Staff Attorney to join a national restructuring practice in Chicago. This is a firmwide, non-partner-track role supporting bankruptcy and restructuring engagements across offices, with a primary focus on company-side matters.

Responsibilities include coordinating and preparing court disclosures and retention filings in bankruptcy matters, supporting Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings, and assisting with distressed M&A matters. The role also involves legal research and practice-focused writing for the group.

4–6 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or distressed M&A work
Experience supporting Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings (company-side focus preferred)
Strong legal research, drafting and organizational skills; ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
Member in good standing of the Ohio Bar
JD degree; ability to provide writing sample and academic transcript upon request
