Seeking a Staff Attorney to support private funds work within a busy funds team in the New York office. The role focuses on fund formation, document drafting and review, investor onboarding and subscription processing, secondary transfers, and ongoing fund maintenance and compliance tasks.

The new hire will work closely with associates, counsel and partners to manage closings, prepare standard funds agreements (including transfer agreements and side‑letter compendiums), and assist with AML/KYC reviews. This is a hybrid role with a mix of client-facing coordination and detailed document work.

J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
Admission to the New York bar (or admission to the local office jurisdiction)
Transcripts required during recruitment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong technical/computer skills; familiarity with Excel, iManage and Word preferred
Experience or interest in fund formation, investor onboarding, AML/KYC and private funds document workflow preferred
