Join a national State & Local Policy & Regulation practice as a junior to mid-level associate (2–5 years) based in Atlanta. The role focuses on strategic, practical legal advice on regulatory, legislative and policy matters, and includes supporting administrative and policy-oriented civil litigation at trial and on appeal.

The associate will work closely with lawyers and advisors across practice areas, contribute to legal research and drafting (memoranda, briefs, motions), and help prepare client-facing guidance, presentations, and publications. The position offers exposure to regulatory frameworks and opportunities to engage with policymakers, regulators and community stakeholders.

2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in regulatory, administrative, public policy, or litigation work
Strong legal research, drafting and oral communication skills; ability to translate complex legal/regulatory concepts into practical guidance
Experience supporting litigation teams (administrative/regulatory or complex civil matters) preferred
Familiarity with administrative law and public policy/regulatory frameworks
Interest or experience in regulated industries such as energy or health care is a plus; strong organizational and project-management skills
