Apply in confidence →We are seeking a mid- to senior-level associate or counsel to join a US structured finance team focused on securitization, warehouse financing and related transactions. The role will sit on lender-side and structured-finance matters, including trade receivables and mortgage/consumer-asset securitizations.
Work will span domestic and cross-border matters and may involve off-balance-sheet structuring, intercreditor arrangements, trade-credit insurance and ABCP/funding features. Candidates may be based in a number of U.S. offices (Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco or Washington, D.C.); strong relevant experience is more important than location.
The team represents banks, funds and other financial institutions on sophisticated structured finance deals. Candidates should be comfortable producing high-quality transaction work and contributing to business development and client service efforts.
- Juris Doctor and admission to practice in the U.S. (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
- 3+ years (mid-level) to 5+ years (senior) of experience in securitization/structured finance; lender-side experience preferred
- Experience with securitizations, warehouse financing, mortgage- or other consumer-asset pools, and/or trade receivables monetization/supply-chain finance
- Ability to provide a deal sheet or representative matter list; strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
