Tax Associate — Real Estate (Washington, D.C.)

Growing tax group in a leading national/international law firm is seeking associates to join its Washington, D.C. office. The team handles tax matters with a strong focus on real estate transactions and REIT structures.

Successful candidates will work on technically complex tax questions, conduct detailed research, draft client-facing memoranda and transactional documents, and collaborate with deal teams on novel issues. The role offers exposure to sophisticated real estate tax work and mentoring from senior tax practitioners.

• J.D. with outstanding academic credentials
• Class-year 2022 or later (entry-level associates)
• Demonstrable interest or experience in tax and real estate/REIT matters
• Strong legal research, writing and oral communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose practical solutions
