A role in the Digital Economy Transactions team for a major international law firm seeking a Technology (TMT) Lawyer based in Brisbane. The team advises across the full suite of technology matters including software and systems, cloud, data/privacy, cyber, technology commercial contracts, procurements, complex projects, telecoms and technology aspects of M&A.

This position is for an experienced lawyer (post-qualification) who will work on commercial, regulatory and transactional technology matters for corporate and government clients. Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and admission in Australia.
Minimum ~5 years post-qualification experience in technology, cyber security and/or privacy-focused practice.
Practical experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts and advising on data/privacy and security matters.
Experience with Queensland IT contracting frameworks, Security of Critical Infrastructure Act and APRA CPS 230 regulatory matters is highly advantageous.
Strong commercial judgment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
