Apply in confidence →Top-tier international law firm is hiring a technology-focused attorney to lead contracting and risk management for firm technology and third-party suppliers. The role sits on the extended IT and legal leadership team and supports procurement, vendor management, privacy, and technology governance.
You will own review and negotiation of technology-related contracts, develop playbooks and templates, manage a contract lifecycle inventory, and help scale procurement processes and controls in line with risk profiles. The role partners with General Counsel, IT/security, procurement and business-service teams and contributes to the firm’s technology & innovation governance.
The position also involves staying current on industry developments (including generative AI), driving adoption of contracting technology, and advising on supplier requirements and risk mitigation for enterprise technology solutions.
- J.D. (or equivalent) from an accredited law school and active bar license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience reviewing and negotiating technology contracts (law firm, professional services, or corporate procurement/legal team)
- Experience with technology procurement, vendor agreements, software/cloud contracts, and contract lifecycle management
- Familiarity with data privacy/regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR) and generative AI products and risks
- Strong negotiation, drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with IT, security, procurement, and business stakeholders
- Proficiency with common office and records systems (e.g., Word, Teams) and an interest in applying technology to streamline legal processes
