Opportunity for a transactional technology attorney to join a busy Technology Transactions group in Palo Alto. The role focuses on commercial technology deals and intellectual property licensing for a mix of emerging companies and established enterprise clients.

Work will center on drafting and negotiating complex licensing and commercial agreements, including matters involving AI deployments, software and content licensing, partnering and distribution, cloud and application hosting, technology development and transfer. The position is transactional and does not involve IP litigation or prosecution.

The team emphasizes professional development; successful candidates will be commercially minded, quick learners who provide pragmatic advice and contribute to group training.

3–5 years post-qualification transactional experience (technology transactions or IP licensing preferred)
Substantive experience drafting and negotiating complex licensing and commercial technology agreements
Familiarity with software, cloud/hosting, AI-related deployments, partnering and technology transfer arrangements
Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple matters and work both independently and in teams
Interest in staying current on regulatory and privacy developments impacting technology and AI
