The role combines representation before the NLRB and other forums with client-facing advice on federal and California workplace laws, policies and compliance.
Typical matters include handling unfair labor practice charges and representation in NLRB elections; counseling on union organizing, card-check/neutrality issues and collective bargaining; grievance, arbitration and injunction practice; and advising on wage-and-hour, leave, disability accommodation and handbook/policy review. The role may also support transactional due diligence and deliver management training.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 4–6 years post-qualification experience in litigation and/or labor advice work
- California bar admission required
- Experience in traditional labor relations and employer-side counseling preferred
- Strong research, drafting, oral advocacy and project-management skills
- Familiarity with federal and California enforcement agencies; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
