Apply in confidence →An established national labor & employment practice is seeking an associate to join its Silicon Valley office in a traditional labor-focused role. The position centers on representing employers in labor relations matters and providing advice on federal and California workplace law.
Typical matters include handling unfair labor practice charges and NLRB elections, counseling on union organizing and collective bargaining, managing grievances, arbitrations and injunctions, and advising on wage-and-hour, leave and accommodation issues. The role will also involve handbook and policy reviews, management training, and occasional due diligence for transactions.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- 4–6 years of litigation or employment law experience (traditional labor experience preferred)
- Admission to the California bar required
- Experience with federal and California workplace laws and agency practice preferred
- Strong research, writing, advocacy and project-management skills; attention to detail
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required; ability to travel as needed
