Appellate Attorney

This growing law firm is seeking an experienced appellate attorney to join its national practice. The role focuses on handling complex civil appeals and extraordinary writ proceedings across federal and state courts nationwide, including matters before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong record of success in appellate advocacy, including experience drafting persuasive briefs, presenting oral arguments, and managing the full lifecycle of appellate cases from trial record evaluation through final disposition. Familiarity with local appellate rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions is preferred.

This position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation across diverse practice areas, including class actions, commercial disputes, construction, employment, healthcare, insurance coverage, intellectual property, and toxic tort/environmental matters. • Admission to the New York Bar is required; additional bar admissions are a plus.
• 1–15 years of appellate experience, with demonstrated skill in state and federal civil appellate procedure.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
