We are seeking a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join a global Practice Innovation and Knowledge Solutions team. This role shapes how legal knowledge, training, and innovation are delivered across US practices. You will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to drive quality, consistency, and client value.
You will act as a trusted adviser to legal teams, developing high-quality knowledge resources and delivering impactful training. The team brings together knowledge management, information services, and legal innovation specialists, collaborating with practice groups, Business Development, IT, and Risk & Compliance to support strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of model/template documents, checklists, prompt libraries, and core knowledge resources
- Design and deliver high-impact legal training programmes for attorneys and clients
- Work closely with partners and client teams to develop tailored legal training and content solutions
- Lead and coordinate knowledge initiatives aligned with practice group priorities and firm strategy
- Act as a trusted adviser to legal teams, translating business needs into practical, scalable knowledge solutions
- Drive adoption of legal technology, including AI tools, to enhance legal delivery and efficiency
- Collaborate with Business Development, IT, and Risk & Compliance on strategic, firmwide initiatives
Experience and Skills
- Qualified attorney with significant post-qualification experience (typically 7–10+ years), gained in private practice
- Experience as a Knowledge Lawyer or equivalent role, or a strong interest in transitioning into a knowledge and innovation role
- Expertise in insurance law and litigation is preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of how knowledge, training, and innovation support high-performing legal teams and clients
- Qualified attorney with significant post-qualification experience (typically 7–10+ years), gained in private practice
- Experience as a Knowledge Lawyer or equivalent role, or a strong interest in transitioning into a knowledge and innovation role
- Expertise in insurance law and litigation preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of how knowledge, training, and innovation support high-performing legal teams and clients
