Associate (4-5 PQE) – Financial Lines & D&O

About the role: Our Financial Lines, Director's & Officer's practice in Sydney currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Associate with between 4 and 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a busy and growing team.

The role involves:

• Handling complex financial lines, professional indemnity, and D&O matters.
• Providing coverage advice and dispute resolution services to corporate and commercial clients locally and internationally.
• Working closely with leading practitioners on high-value defence and complex coverage disputes, as well as litigated indemnity disputes.

About you:

• Qualified lawyer in Australia or another common law jurisdiction with 4-5 years' PQE.
• Experience in general insurance litigation, financial lines, professional indemnity, or D&O is preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid time management skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in building client relationships.
