Associate — Debt Finance

Top-tier international law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate for its Debt Finance practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices (New York, Washington, D.C. and Bay Area).

The team advises private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on acquisition financing and other leveraged transactions. The successful candidate will work on complex syndicated and bilateral financings and should be comfortable operating on fast timelines within large deal teams.

• 2–5 years of transactional experience in debt finance, preferably with a focus on private equity/acquisition financing
• Experience representing sponsors and borrowers is preferred; lender-side experience will also be considered
• Admission to the New York, D.C. or California bar
• Strong drafting and deal-management skills, and familiarity with current market terms
• Excellent academic and professional credentials
