We are seeking a finance associate with a focus on private credit and fund finance transactions to join our Leveraged Finance subgroup. This role is available in two major U.S. markets.

Our clients are primarily lead arrangers, direct lenders, sub-line lenders, and NAV lenders, though we also work with borrowers, issuers, and corporates.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive legal research, drafting precise legal documents, and assisting with complex transactions from inception to closing. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborate with colleagues on innovative strategies, and participate in high-level legal activities. Compliance with legal standards and ongoing professional development are also key aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail. You should work effectively both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating sound business judgment and persuasive communication.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, and/or structured finance
JD from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in the state in which you will be officing
Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
