Growing New York law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits practice. The role involves advising public and private companies and alternative asset managers on executive compensation matters, with regular involvement in M&A, corporate governance and capital markets-related work.

The successful candidate will work on plan design and drafting, compliance and transactional aspects of executive pay, and collaborate closely with corporate and finance teams on cross-practice matters. The team handles sophisticated, market-facing matters for institutional clients.

  • 3–5 years of executive compensation & employee benefits experience
  • Experience advising public and private companies and alternative asset managers
  • Familiarity with compensation issues in M&A, corporate governance and capital markets contexts
  • Member of the New York Bar; strong academic and writing credentials
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and interpersonal skills
