Join a busy national health advisory and inquest practice handling inquests and Court of Protection matters for public and private health and social care clients. The role is based across regional UK offices and involves managing a varied caseload with opportunities for advocacy.

The team covers a wide range of health and social care work including serious medical treatment applications, mental health and capacity matters, safeguarding, continuing healthcare and information-governance issues. There is scope to develop advisory work alongside litigation and Court of Protection practice.

Relevant experience in Court of Protection and/or inquests, including case management and advocacy
Familiarity with serious medical treatment High Court applications, mental capacity/Deprivation of Liberty matters or related health law areas desirable
Strong written and oral presentation skills; able to prepare complex legal advice and deliver training
Good understanding of the NHS and experience advising health or social care clients preferred
Organised, client-focused team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet financial/time recording targets
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and case management/online research tools; willing to work from different regional offices as required
