Join a leading Health, Care and Public Law team advising organisations across the health and social care sector, including NHS Trusts, independent providers, defence organisations, charities, commissioners and investors. The team is highly regarded in the legal directories and offers a collaborative, specialist environment.

We are seeking a solicitor to handle health regulatory and advisory work, with opportunities to support clients on inquests and inquiries, regulatory investigations, professional regulatory matters, mental health and mental capacity issues, and wider advisory matters. There is a particular focus on developing expertise in inquests and professional regulatory work.

You will manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision, including conducting advocacy in inquest proceedings, acting as a lead client contact, and supporting business development activities. You will communicate with clients, courts, regulators and healthcare professionals, manage confidential information in line with data security protocols, and comply with billing and credit control procedures.

We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in this or a related practice area. Experience advising health and social care clients, particularly on inquests, professional regulatory matters or general healthcare advice, is highly advantageous. A clear interest in health regulatory and advisory work, strong client-facing skills, a commercial mindset, excellent communication, and a team-oriented approach are essential.

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with previous experience in healthcare regulatory or a related practice area
  • Experience advising clients in the health and social care sector, particularly on inquests, professional regulatory matters or general healthcare advice, is highly advantageous
