Key responsibilities include:

Advising clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including secured and unsecured lending, project finance, and acquisition finance.
Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and other finance-related contracts.
Conducting due diligence and managing transaction processes.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate will have:

Solid experience in banking and finance law from a reputable firm.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and drafting abilities.
A proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Admission as a lawyer in Australia.

Qualified lawyer with 2-5 years' post-admission experience (Associate) or 5+ years' experience (Senior Associate) in banking and finance law.
Experience across a range of finance transactions, including corporate, real estate, and asset-based lending.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively.
Membership with an Australian legal professional body.
