Attorney - Employment and Labor Relations

Am Law 200 firm seeks a team-oriented senior associate, of counsel, or junior partner to join its employment and labor practice. This is a fully remote position, but the successful candidate must reside in central California (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, or Santa Barbara counties).

The role focuses on defending employers in wage-and-hour litigation, including class and collective actions, PAGA lawsuits, and single-plaintiff claims. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills and experience managing matters through all stages of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, trial, and mediation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the firm's Phoenix employment team and must have sufficient availability to service the team's existing client work.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar (or ability to become promptly admitted).
• Significant experience defending employers in wage-and-hour litigation, including class and collective actions, PAGA lawsuits, and single-plaintiff claims.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Experience managing matters through all stages of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, trial, and mediation.
• Ability to work remotely while residing in central California.
