An established tax practice seeks an associate to focus on fund formation. The role centers on representing fund sponsors and investors, with an emphasis on venture funds and private equity funds.

The work spans investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures. You will manage several concurrent ongoing matters while building strong direct client relationships and applying sharp problem-solving skills to complex structuring questions.

The position is open across multiple U.S. offices, with the option to be based in a major market.

2–5 years of tax experience representing fund sponsors and investors
Preference for experience with venture funds, private equity funds, fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures
High level of motivation, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong client-relations skills and ability to handle several concurrent matters
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
