Our client, a leading law firm, seeks a tax associate to join its fund formation practice. The role focuses on advising fund sponsors and investors, with an emphasis on venture and private equity funds, investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures.

Ideal candidates will bring 2–5 years of tax experience in fund formation, strong client relations and problem-solving skills, and a record of academic excellence from a nationally recognized law school. The position offers the flexibility to be based in Chicago, New York, or Palo Alto, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

2–5 years of tax experience representing fund sponsors and investors, preferably focused on venture and private equity funds
Experience advising on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures
High level of motivation, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong client relations skills and ability to handle several concurrent ongoing matters
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
