Capital Markets Mid-Level Associate

Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join its Corporate Practice Group. This role can be based in any of the firm's US offices.

The capital markets practice handles the full range of products, including debt, equity, and equity-linked transactions for a sophisticated client base. Associates benefit from early, direct client exposure—participating in key conversations and building relationships from day one, which accelerates their development of judgment and client instincts. Responsibilities include:

• Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters
• Capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on and other equity offerings
• High-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
• Private placement offerings
• Corporate governance
• SEC reporting matters
• Exchange listing matters

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on capital markets financings and ongoing governance/SEC reporting matters
• Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships
• Strong organizational skills and remarkable attention to detail
• Ability to operate under time pressures while collaborating and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Admission to the bar in the state of the applying office

Required qualifications:
