Capital Markets Mid-Level Associate

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join its Corporate Practice Group. The role can be based in any of the firm's U.S. offices.

The capital markets team advises issuers and underwriters across the full spectrum of capital markets products, including debt, equity, and equity-linked transactions, for a sophisticated client base. Associates benefit from early and meaningful client exposure, taking on real responsibility from the start and developing strong client instincts. This is a collegial team offering mentorship and the chance to work on complex, global matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Advising on '33 and '34 Act matters
• Handling IPOs, follow-on and other equity offerings
• Working on high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
• Managing private placement offerings
• Supporting corporate governance matters
• Handling SEC reporting matters
• Assisting with exchange listing matters

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3–5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on capital markets financings and ongoing governance/SEC reporting matters
• Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to work under time pressure while collaborating effectively and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Admission to the bar in the state where they are applying
