Apply in confidence →We are seeking a Civil Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of post-call experience to join our Vancouver office. As part of a leading Canadian litigation firm, you will handle complex insurance defence and commercial litigation matters, with opportunities for meaningful advocacy, mentorship, and professional growth in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on complex insurance defence and civil litigation matters, including property and bodily injury claims
- Participate in examinations for discovery, mediations, court appearances, and trials
- Develop litigation strategy, manage client relationships, and take on increasing file responsibility
- Receive hands-on mentorship from experienced litigators
- Collaborate with leading lawyers across Canada and benefit from a global network
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of post-call civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Familiarity with the BC Supreme Court Civil Rules and litigation procedures
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Sound professional judgment, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional client service
