We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our Phoenix office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a national law firm and collaborate with attorneys focused on technology, manufacturing, and transportation clients.

The ideal candidate has four to six years of experience and is admitted to practice in Arizona (or is committed to obtaining admission promptly). We are looking for someone with experience across the full spectrum of complex commercial litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation, and maintaining direct client contact. Experience in both state and federal court is preferred, and familiarity with administrative proceedings and arbitrations is a plus. We also value prior second-chair experience at trial or arbitration, and an interest in transportation and supply chain issues.

  • Active Arizona bar license, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
  • 4–6 years of experience in commercial litigation
  • Experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including discovery, pleadings, depositions, motions, mediation, and client communication
  • Experience in state and federal court (preferred)
  • Second-chair trial or arbitration experience (preferred)
  • Experience or interest in transportation and supply chain matters (a plus)
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Strong judgment, project management, and ability to articulate legal strategies
