Join a leading organisation as a Competition and Consumer Lawyer on a 12-month, full-time hybrid contract in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your legal career while supporting business stakeholders on a range of consumer-focused initiatives.

You will bring 3–5 years’ experience in competition and consumer law from private practice or within a large corporate, telecommunications, or regulated industry environment. Your expertise will be central to advising on Australian Consumer Law and competition law compliance, as well as reviewing promotions, pricing, and marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

Advising on compliance with Australian Consumer Law and competition law requirements
Reviewing and advising on consumer-facing offers, promotions, pricing initiatives, and marketing campaigns
Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks associated with tactical offers and customer propositions
Supporting product, marketing, and commercial teams on the development and launch of consumer initiatives
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and consumer-related documents

You are commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to communicate complex legal concepts to senior stakeholders. A current Australian practising certificate and the right to work in Australia are required.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in competition and consumer law
