Join a leading organisation as a Legal Consultant within our flexible legal resourcing platform, supporting a major client on a 12-month full-time hybrid engagement in Melbourne. This role is ideal for an experienced competition and consumer lawyer looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, commercially focused environment.

Provide practical, commercially focused advice on Australian Consumer Law and competition law compliance.
Review and advise on consumer-facing offers, promotions, pricing initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks associated with tactical offers and customer propositions.
Support product, marketing, and commercial teams in developing and launching consumer initiatives.
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial and consumer-related documents.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple levels of the business.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Minimum 3–5 years' PQE in competition and consumer law, from private practice or in-house within a large corporate, telecommunications, or regulated industry environment.
Strong track record advising on Australian Consumer Law, competition law, consumer protection obligations, misleading and deceptive conduct, and unfair contract terms.
Experience reviewing and advising on consumer offers, promotions, pricing initiatives, and marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of associated legal and regulatory risks.
Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers.
Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-focused, with adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Current Australian practising certificate and the right to live and work in Australia.
