A leading national competition team is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Associate to join its Antitrust & Competition practice. The role sits within a market-ranked group advising on merger control, cartel and behavioural investigations, enforcement litigation and regulatory matters across a wide range of industry sectors.

This is a national role with opportunities to work on complex, cross-border matters and to develop sector expertise (telecoms, tech, energy, resources, financial institutions and infrastructure). The team offers structured mentorship, client-facing responsibility and exposure to high-profile transactional and advisory work.

Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in competition/antitrust law or relevant regulator experience in Australia
Proven experience on merger clearances and other competition matters; interest in developing expertise under new merger control rules
Strong academic record and commitment to continuous learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
Comfort working to tight deadlines, both collaboratively and autonomously; commercial mindset and client-focused approach
Curiosity about technology and AI as they relate to competition and regulatory issues
