Apply in confidence →We are seeking a construction-focused transactional associate (3–6 years PQE) to join a national Construction & Infrastructure Transactions team. The role involves drafting and negotiating complex contracts for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects, including EPC, design-build, alternative delivery, supply, service, and engineering agreements.
The practice works on matters of national scope for institutional clients. The position offers direct partner mentorship, early client contact, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, fast-paced team. This opportunity is open in multiple U.S. offices, including Boulder, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Fort Wayne (IN), Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, and Princeton (NJ).
- 3–6 years of construction-related transactional experience (drafting and negotiating EPC, design-build, and similar contracts)
- Demonstrated experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, and bonding
- Strong legal writing, attention to detail, and ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams
- Ability to manage client communications and take responsibility on complex, high-stakes matters
