Apply in confidence →Our client, a national law firm, seeks a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate with five to seven years of experience to join its Energy & Natural Resources practice. The role will focus on real estate transactions for wind, solar, and battery storage projects, covering both development and financing phases.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team across multiple U.S. offices, including a virtual office option. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure while articulating clear legal strategies. An active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction (or commitment to obtain one promptly) is required.
- 5–7 years of experience in renewable energy real estate, with specific exposure to wind, solar, and/or battery storage transactions (development and financing)
- Admission to the bar in the state corresponding to the office applied to (or commitment to obtain it as soon as possible)
- Excellent academic credentials and strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure
- Exceptional judgment, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to community engagement
