The role focuses on construction disputes, litigation, and arbitration, handling large-scale, high-profile projects in the local and international construction sector.
You will work within a well-established team recognized for technical excellence and commercial acumen, collaborating closely with partners and contributing to strategic growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Key Responsibilities
- Assist partners and team members on complex, large-scale construction matters.
- Manage a caseload of contentious and non-contentious construction and arbitration work.
- Draft contracts, project documents, opinions, advice, and correspondence.
- Engage with clients, take instructions, and contribute to strategy discussions.
- Participate in business development initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and trainees (for more senior candidates).
Candidate Profile
- Qualified to practise in Singapore, with 1–5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong academic record and excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, or adjudication; construction exposure preferred but candidates with general commercial disputes experience will be considered.
- Exposure to cross-border disputes is an advantage, as is interest in front-end construction work.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working with limited supervision.
- Qualified to practise in Singapore.
- 1–5 years' post-qualification experience in construction or general commercial disputes.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
